Project Overview
This WhatsApp Web Clone is a real-time messaging app built with React for the frontend and Node.js with Express for the backend. It features Socket.IO for real-time chat, JWT-based authentication, and end-to-end encryption using crypto-js. Users can send messages, share statuses, and make video calls using Simple Peer. The app includes online/offline indicators, typing status, and chat history storage with MongoDB. Designed with Tailwind CSS, it replicates the responsive UI of WhatsApp Web.

Synchronous peer-to-peer video streaming, presence tracking, and encrypted message transfer across active browser clients.
